Novak Djokovic Reacts on Meeting Metallica Members During Qatar Grand Prix Appearance

Novak Djokovic meets Metallica members at the F1 event Qatar Grand Prix, along with hosting a movement session and presenting trophies to the sprint winners.

Novak Djokovic is making the most of his offseason, as he shared a glimpse of himself posing with the members of Metallica at the elite Formula One event, the Qatar Grand Prix.

He also led an exercise session at the Lusail International Circuit ahead of the event and presented the Sprint Race trophies to the top three, sharing the stage with Formula One stars.

Novak Djokovic Poses With Elite Heavy Metal Band Metallica at F1 Qatar Grand Prix

Djokovic was recently invited, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, to attend events leading up to the Qatar Grand Prix. These events included a practice session, where he led a young group towards fitness, which also saw Argentine driver Franco Colapinto in attendance.

The winner of 101 ATP singles titles, including a record 24 major titles, shared a glimpse of himself posing with Metallica’s band members through his Instagram story. In the caption, he added, “🤘🤘 @metallica @f1.” Apart from this, Djokovic also presented trophies to the sprint winners, who were McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, Mercedes’ George Russell, and Lando Norris of McLaren.

During the same event, Djokovic also unveiled his latest project, the Regenesis recovery pod, with Qatar Airways as its official partner. He established his latest technological project in collaboration with Tav Keen, who is an expert in creating meditative states using technology.

The ATP legend, a well-known investor, shared his thoughts on his novel project showcased at the Qatar event, highlighting a solution to the injuries he suffered in the 2025 season, adding, “I’m taking a short break and trying to reconstruct my machine, so to say, in racing terminology.” (via Sky Sports)

He continued, “I’ve been getting injured more often than not in the last 18 months, so I’m trying to rebuild my body so the start of the next season will be great and, hopefully, I can keep it up with the best guys.”

Considering the functions of the pod, the ATP legend revealed, “It is a multi-sensory wellness capsule pod that resets your batteries in the shortest amount of time, which is eight minutes.”

The Regenis recovery pod offers a range of treatments designed to promote physical and mental healing, including sound frequency therapy, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), aromatherapy, and more.

Considering his 2025 season, Djokovic concluded by winning the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship and the Gonet Geneva Open. Apart from this, he reached the semifinals of the French Open, the US Open, the Wimbledon Championships, and the Australian Open, i.e., all the Grand Slam tournaments, at the age of 38.

He also made his record-tying 18th qualification at the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals but had to withdraw from the season-ending championship due to a shoulder injury. He also delivered impressive performances in the Shanghai Masters, reaching the semifinals, and at the Miami Open, he advanced to the final round.
