The ATP legend, Novak Djokovic, who has settled in Glyfada, a coastal district south of Athens, with his family due to safety concerns following his support for the Serbian protests, considering the Novi Sad railway station accident, is reportedly close to buying the Tennis and Racket Sports Club in Elliniko, a $23-million project. He had qualified for the 2025 ATP Finals but withdrew due to a shoulder injury.
Novak Djokovic Moves Closer To Buying Tennis and Racket Sports Club in Elliniko
The elite ATP player, Novak Djokovic, who has invested in multiple areas throughout his career, is now nearing the acquisition of Elliniko’s tennis sports club, located in the coastal municipality of Greece, the Athens Riviera, a high-end region.
His latest investment was reported by Greek sports journalist Thanos Stathopoulos, who shared on his X post, “The Tennis & Racket Sports Club in Elliniko, a €20-million project comprising more than 20 tennis courts as well as padel and pickleball facilities, is reportedly close to being acquired by Novak Djokovic (as per @Tennis24).”
The advanced Sports club, situated in the coastal zone, boasts a value in the millions of euros and features areas for playing three different sports: tennis, padel, and pickleball. According to Tennis24, Serena Williams’ former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, was also involved with the club’s acquisition.
The site had earlier shared, “This complex was under the microscope of some of the top names in world tennis, among whom the names of Patrick Mouratoglou, Novak Djokovic, and the Sakari family were often mentioned.”
Apart from this, Djokovic stepped into the world of business through Family Sport, a legal entity in Serbia founded and run by his family members, including his father, Srdjan, and uncle, Goran. The company has also ventured into organizing sports and entertainment events, real estate, and distributing sports apparel.
The firm had also launched Novak Café & Restaurant in 2008 in Novi Beograd, a municipality of Belgrade, and has, till now, established in multiple areas. The Serbian had also launched a nutritional food product line, Djokolife, in 2015. Apart from this, he also has an 80% share in the Danish biotech firm QuantBioRes.
In August of this year, Djokovic acquired a significant stake in Incrediwear and serves as their brand ambassador. Considering the vital role of the brand’s product, Djokovic shared, “I’m always looking for ways to support my performance and shorten recovery time.”
The brand, Incrediwear, is one of the leading names in bioactive infrared fabric technology, and the legendary player has used their products since 2024, following his knee surgery.
