Sebastian Korda’s fiancée, Ivana Nedvěd, was overjoyed as his sister, Nelly, announced her engagement to a mystery man, just one day after Thanksgiving. Nedvěd, who got engaged to Korda a few weeks ago, made an adorable proposal ahead of the couples’ respective weddings.
Sebastian Korda’s Sister Nelly Korda Announces Engagement
Nelly Korda surprised her fans with a well-thought-out engagement photoshoot with her fiancé on Instagram. The couple lovingly looked into each other’s eyes while Nelly showed off her diamond ring, holding a newspaper called “The Engagement.” Headlines such as “We’re getting married!” and “Love is in the air” were featured on the front cover.
The pictures that followed captured Nelly and her partner’s happiness while being immersed in Florida waters. The pair shared a romantic kiss and posed with their pet. The golfer was flooded with messages from fellow athletes after her special life update. Among her well-wishers was her brother Sebastian’s fiancée, Ivana.

Interestingly, earlier this month Korda announced his engagement to his longtime partner after four years together.
“Forever and then some,” the tennis player wrote on Instagram.

After noticing her future sister-in-law’s update, Ivana couldn’t help but point out their upcoming nuptials. She proposed that the two couples begin their wedding planning together.
“Let’s plan some weddings, shall we?” Ivana wrote.
The eldest of the Korda siblings, Jessica, couldn’t hide her excitement either.
“YAAAASSSS,” the fellow golfer wrote. “Sorry boys, she’s off the market.”

What Sebastian Korda Has Said About His Fiancée Ivana Nedvěd
Sebastian comes from sporting royalty. His sisters, Nelly and Jessica, are decorated golfers; his mother, Regina, is a former Czech tennis player, while his father, Petr, is a former Australian Open champion. It’s worth noting, though, that his fiancée, too, has a rich sporting background. Ivana is the daughter of Pavel Nedvěd, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Czech soccer players.
Speaking about his relationship and his partner’s sporting family, Korda told Express Sport in 2024:
“The best thing is she understands sports which is great. She understands how difficult it is to be a professional athlete and that there’s a lot of sacrifices. She’s an amazing partner to have and I’m very lucky to have someone that just understands it and always is trying to be there.”
“I’m very appreciative whenever she comes and we have a lot of fun together. She takes my mind off of tennis and we have fun and can relax and go sightseeing a little bit and just be normal in a way when you’re outside the tennis courts and it’s massive for any athlete just to take their mind off of things and just be fresh and ready to go whenever you go back out there and practice,” he added.
On the tennis front, Korda endured a challenging 2025 season riddled with injury setbacks. The athlete, who has won two career titles and has a career-high ranking of No. 15, would look to make a favorable return in 2026.
