Ons Jabeur Flooded With Heartfelt Wishes From Naomi Osaka, Paula Badosa, and Others

Jabeur last competed at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, where she was forced to retire mid-match against Viktoriya Tomova after dropping a tight opening set 6-7(7) and trailing 0-2 in the second. She has remained away from competition ever since, later acknowledging that she had not been feeling happy on court for some time and needed a break to reset and recover.

Amid her time away from competition, a heartwarming update arrived as Jabeur announced she is expecting her first child. The former World No. 2 shared a touching video alongside her husband, Karim Kamoun, revealing that they will welcome their baby in April. The couple lovingly held a tiny onesie and miniature tennis racquet in the clip, marking the beginning of their new chapter together.

“Took a little break to reset and recharge… Turns out, we’ve been planning the cutest comeback ever. The court will have to wait a little longer, because soon… we’ll be welcoming our tiniest teammate. Baby boy joining the team in April,” she captioned her post.
