The grass court season was where Fritz was at his best during the 2025 ATP Tour, as the American player won 13 of the 15 matches on the surface, winning two titles at Stuttgart and Eastbourne. He also had a great Wimbledon campaign, reaching his maiden semifinal at SW19, where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz in a tight four-set match.
Overall, Fritz had a 53-23 season, with a runner-up finish in Tokyo and multiple semifinal finishes in Miami and Toronto as his other notable results.
