Maria Sharapova attended the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, where she wore a stunning white Gucci gown. This was not the first time the former world No. 1 attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party; she first graced the event in 2012, alongside Venus and Serena Williams.
Before this year, Sharapova last attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party three years ago, in 2023, when she wore a sleeveless olive green Emilia Wickstead gown along with long black leather gloves.

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party is regarded as one of the premier Oscar parties, attended by some of the biggest celebrities. This year, the party, hosted by Mark Guiducci, the global editorial director of Vanity Fair, took place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in Beverly Hills, California.
In addition to Sharapova, celebrities such as Grigor Dimitrov’s girlfriend, Mexican actress and singer Eiza González, Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, Timothée Chalamet, Dua Lipa, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Mick Jagger, and Jane Fonda, among others, also attended the event.
For her look, Sharapova wore an archival white Gucci dress from 2013, designed by Frida Giannini. The dress featured a deep V-neck and extravagant cape sleeves. She styled her hair in a sleek bun, wore minimal jewelry from Hearts On Fire, and her makeup was done by Sabrina Bedrani.
