Jessica Pegula Shows Support As Billionaire Parents-Owned Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen Achieves 1 Major Milestone

American tennis star Jessica Pegula recently reacted as the Buffalo Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen became the player at 30 or younger to have the most number of touchdowns in the NFL. Allen reached the recent milestone thanks to a scintillating performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in New York’s Orchard Park.

Jessica Pegula Reacts to Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen’s Remarkable Achievement

Pegula comes from a prominent business lineage as the daughter of billionaire parents Terry and Kim Pegula. Terry Pegula launched East Resources Inc. in 1983 and gradually turned it into a major energy powerhouse before selling it to Royal Dutch Shell for $4.7 billion in 2010. He then parted with additional assets in a 2014 deal with American Energy Partners.

Following this, he broadened his ventures into sports and real estate, leading to the creation of Pegula Sports and Entertainment. In 2011, Terry and Kim secured ownership of the Buffalo Sabres, and in 2014, they completed a $1.4 billion purchase of the Buffalo Bills. It is this deep family legacy that explains why the WTA World No. 6 consistently expresses her support for Bills.

Pegula’s family-owned Buffalo Bills secured a 44-32 triumph over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, November 16, in an action-packed NFL showdown. Allen was central to the victory. He completed 19 of 30 throws for 317 yards, though two were intercepted.

Apart from that, the 29-year-old produced 40 more yards on six carries, and his last rushing touchdown elevated him to 75 in regular-season play.

However, the milestone that stood out most was his achievement of 290 career touchdowns, setting a new NFL record for quarterbacks younger than 30. Pegula later took note of this feat and reposted the Bills’ official tribute to Allen’s achievement on her Instagram story.

Pegula enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign, capturing three WTA titles and earning her place at the WTA Finals in Riyadh. She opened the season-ending tournament with a hard-fought 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-2 victory over compatriot and close friend Coco Gauff and fell to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 4-6, 6-2, 3-6 in the next game.

She secured a win in her next match by sweeping past Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-3, and the American secured her spot in the semifinals. However, overcoming eventual champion Elena Rybakina proved far more difficult, and Pegula ultimately bowed out despite taking the opening set. All in all, the World No. 6 delivered a solid season, closing with a 53-23 win-loss record and over $5.2 million in prize money.
