The French Open is reaching its business end, with the women’s singles final on Jun. 7. Only four players are left in the men’s singles draw, namely three-time champion Novak Djokovic, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti, who reached the semifinals of all Masters 1000 events on clay this year.
Head Rackets Dominate French Open Semifinal line-up
After witnessing a tough time during the clay-court season, Djokovic looks to be back in form. The Serb, with his Head Speed Legend, beat Alexander Zverev, among others, to book his place in the semifinals of the French Open.
His upcoming opponent, Jannik Sinner, also uses a custom version of the Head Speed with Hawk Touch strings and prime tour grips. The Italian has been sporting gear from the Austrian brand since the early days of his professional career.

Approaching a grand slam semifinal for the second time in his career, Italian player Lorenzo Musetti is also in possession of a Head racket. The 23-year-old uses the Boom with Hawk Touch rough strings, Lynx Tour strings, and pro grips.
Carlos Alcaraz is the Only French Open Semifinalist Who Does Not Use a Head Racket
While a majority of the 2025 French Open semifinalists are using rackets from the house of Head, four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz is the only one who doesn’t. The Spaniard uses a Babolat Pure Aero 98 tennis racket and has been in association with the brand since he was just 10 years old.
The Spaniard’s first-ever contract with the French company was signed in 2013 and has been in continuation ever since then. He began with the Pure Drive and now uses the Pure Aero 98, the gear known for helping generate spin and power. His long partnership with Babolat has supported his rise to World No. 1, recently extended through 2030.
Carlos Alcaraz will face Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals of the French Open, with the Spaniard having a 5-1 head-to-head over the Italian. The 23-year-old won their first encounter, which came in the final of the 2022 Hamburg European Open but Alcaraz has won all of their matches since then.
The other semifinal will be the highly-anticipated clash between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. The two will lock horns for the ninth time, with their head-to-head currently tied at 4-4. Sinner will enter the match having won his last three encounters against the Serb.
