Aryna Sabalenka and Other Elites Attend Gucci’s Show at Milan, With Jannik Sinner Skipping

The World No. 2, Sinner, has wrapped up his Middle East Swing with the Qatar Open, a 500 tournament, where he lost the quarterfinal round to Jakub Menšík and had defeated Tomáš Macháč in the round of 32, and Alexei Popyrin in the round of 16 in straight sets.

After suffering a heartbreak in Doha, he is all set to compete in the Indian Wells tournament, the ATP Masters 1000, which will be headlined by World No. 1, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Learner Tien, Lorenzo Musetti, Alex de Minaur, and others.

The outdoor hardcourt tournament will be held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from March 4 to 15, with Sinner returning to the event after missing it in his 2025 season due to his three-month doping suspension. He last participated in his 2024 season and was recently seen practising in Palm Springs, California.

Through his Instagram story, he shared his well-wishes for the Italian luxury brand, which named him their brand ambassador in 2022, and his regret as he couldn’t attend their recent fashion show in Milan, expressing, “Ciao Demna, good luck for your Gucci show in Milan! So sad I won’t be there in person but I’m thinking of you and my @gucci Family!”

However, he had attended the Fall/Winter fashion show last year, enjoying it in the front row with Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Global, and others. This year, WTA star Sabalenka was seen attending the show after joining the Gucci family as their brand ambassador last month.

After her third-round match at the Australian Open, she reflected on the significance of the partnership with the brand, which was founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921, “That means the world. They’re bold. They’re elegant. They’re super cool. I feel like it’s a perfect fit, the collaboration. I don’t know. I’m the happiest person on earth right now. I couldn’t dream a few months ago that I’ll join the best brand. Right now I’m just super happy.”

Sabalenka attended the show in a striking outfit: a grey blazer, black pants, and a top, completing her elegant look with black heels.
