Jannik Sinner trained amid the intense British heatwave on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching as high as 93°F.
The reigning Wimbledon champion will hope to overcome the heat as he begins his title defense at the All England Club next week. Sinner succumbed under the scorching sun in Paris last month.

Sinner was spotted training in London on Tuesday ahead of the start of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships. The Italian was pictured taking a break with an ice pack on his head to get some relief amid the rising temperatures.
The World No. 1 will hope to overcome the heat at Wimbledon after falling foul of the overhead conditions at the French Open last month. Amid grueling weather conditions, Sinner, alongside other players, seemed to struggle with leg cramps and dizziness as he lost to Juan Manuel Cerúndolo in five sets in the second round at Stade Roland-Garros.

Sinner will hope to adjust to the conditions better during Wimbledon, although the European heatwave is expected to ease next week, with temperatures forecast to range between 75 and 85°F for the first week of the Grand Slam.
Meanwhile, Sinner hasn’t played on the ATP Tour since his shock early exit in Paris. However, he will make his return to action in an exhibition tournament to get some grass-court training under his belt ahead of the Grand Slam.
The four-time Major champion is set to take part in the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic in London, where he faces Cameron Norrie on Wednesday. The temperatures are, however, expected to touch 95°F during the day. The event will also feature Ben Shelton, Flavio Cobolli, Casper Ruud, and several other top ATP Tour players.
“I haven’t played any matches on grass, so the first match – or the first few matches – are going to be difficult. But if I’m able to get through them, I know the confidence on grass can come back and the good feelings as well. At the moment, we’re just trying to get a good rhythm on grass, and then we’ll see how the tournament goes,” Sinner told Vogue about what his approach will be going into SW19.
Sinner will be the overwhelming favorite to win a fifth Grand Slam at Wimbledon, with Carlos Alcaraz still sidelined due to a wrist injury. He has lost just one match since February, going on an incredible run of 30 matches in a row before his loss to Cerúndolo.
Among the other big names expected to be in contention are Novak Djokovic, French Open champion Alexander Zverev, and last year’s semifinalist Taylor Fritz.
