Sinner edged the set 7-5 before dominating the second set and winning it 6-2 to book his place in the final of the ATP Finals for the third year in a row.
After the match, the 24-year-old was asked whether his family would be present to watch him compete in the final. Sinner said that while his brother would be in the stands while his parents would not attend as they had work to take care of.

Sinner Will Face Carlos Alcaraz in the Final in Turin
After beating De Minaur, Sinner will lock horns with his rival Alcaraz in the final. The Spaniard booked his place in the title clash with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final four.
Alcaraz and Sinner will square off against one another for the 16th time, with the former leading their head-to-head 10-5. The two will meet for the sixth time this year, with Alcaraz winning four of their five previous fixtures.
Both players entered the ATP Finals as contenders for the Year-end World No. 1 trophy. However, Alcaraz’s first two wins during the tournament will see him end the 2025 season at the ATP rankings. If Sinner wins the final, then he will clinch his sixth title of this year while Alcaraz will lay hands on silverware for the ninth time if he comes out on top. It will also be the Spaniard’s maiden tournament win at the ATP Finals.
