Italian superstar Jannik Sinner has recently cleared the engagement rumors after his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic, shared a picture of a ring on her Instagram story. Jannik Sinner Puts the Rumour To Rest After Laila Hasanovic’s Ring Glimpse
Sinner confirmed his relationship with Danish model and social media influencer Laila Hasanovic after winning the Vienna Open, where he defeated German star Alexander Zverev in the final round. During his speech, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support he had received.
The winner of 24 ATP singles and one doubles title added, “To my team, I have to speak in English. Thank you so much for the support. The work you put in, the effort… also to understand me at times is not easy, but thank you for putting in the effort. Everyone here, with family, my girlfriend, friends. To my whole team and also those watching at home. Thank you so much for the support.” (via The Tennis Letter’s X post)
Hasanovic, who was previously in a relationship with Mick Schumacher, the son of the legendary Formula One driver, has a notable number of followers on her social media channels. She has also worked with world-leading fashion brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Armani Beauty, and Prada.
However, the Dane garnered the attention of the tennis world after sharing a glimpse of a ring through her Instagram story. Her picture, which fueled engagement rumors with Sinner, was laid to rest when he cleared the air, stating that he was not involved. Sinner shared, “The ring that Laila showed on social media? Did I play a role in that? No, no.”
Apart from being a steady presence for the Italian during the 2025 season-ending championship, Hasanovic also supported him during his Wimbledon Championship journey. Sinner claimed the prestigious title after defeating Alcaraz in the final round, and the Spaniard had surpassed the former at the US Open and French Open to take the title home.
Sinner defeated his on-court rival, Alcaraz, with a concluding score of 7-6(4), 7-5 to clinch the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals, which were held in Turin, Italy, at its largest indoor area, Inalpi. During his last season’s tournament run at the ATP Finals, Sinner had defeated the American star Taylor Fritz in the final to claim the season-ending championship title.
