On her way to the final of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, Świątek defeated Polina Kudermetova, Caty McNally, Danielle Collins, Clara Tauson, Liudmila Samsonova, and Belinda Bencic. In the championship match, she triumphed over Amanda Anisimova with a scoreline of 6-0, 6-0, claiming her first Wimbledon title.

Meanwhile, Sinner, who was the top seed at the London Major, defeated Luca Nardi, Aleksandar Vukic, Pedro Martínez, Grigor Dimitrov, Ben Shelton, and Novak Djokovic to reach the final. There, he overcame Carlos Alcaraz with a scoreline of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, winning the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

After the conclusion of the grass court Grand Slam, players and other important members associated with the tournament attend the annual Wimbledon Champions’ Ball to celebrate the winners. This tradition, which has been taking place since 1977, was started by Virginia Wade and Björn Borg.

In a recent interview with Polsat Sport, Świątek spoke about the winner’s dance she shared with Sinner at Wimbledon. She mentioned that the Italian was “relaxed” before the dance, but she wanted to create a lighter atmosphere, so she kept making little jokes in his ear.

The six-time Grand Slam champion mentioned that Sinner led the dance while she tried to keep up. She expressed that she really enjoyed dancing with Sinner and hopes they will have another chance to do so in the future.

“I think Jannik was feeling pretty relaxed for a number of reasons; I also wanted to ease the atmosphere, so I kept making little jokes in his ear. He was mostly leading, I just tried to keep up – since that’s kind of how it goes in dancing I guess. On the other hand we both knew we didn’t want to try anything complicated, so I really enjoyed it and I hope we’ll get another chance sometime,” Świątek said.

Świątek recently concluded her 2025 season after competing at the WTA Finals. There, she won her opening match against Madison Keys but lost to eventual champion Elena Rybakina and Amanda Anisimova, failing to advance in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Sinner is currently defending his title at the 2025 ATP Finals. He has reached the semifinals and will face Alex de Minaur next.
