‘Nina Is a Great Support’ – Félix Auger-Aliassime Grateful for Fiancée Amid ‘Ups and Downs’

Earlier this year, in an interview with ATPTour.com, Auger-Aliassime expressed how invaluable the support of his fiancée, Ghaibi, along with his family and team, is to him, especially after some ups and downs he faces in his career.

“I feel great because my team, everybody around me, they are great people, and I feel supported with them. My dad travels with me more and more. Nina, she’s a great support. She and her family are great people. You feel that you have this unwavering support, regardless of the ups and downs of what a tennis career is,” Auger-Aliassime said.

The Canadian mentioned that he and Ghaibi share similar “values,” which he said were essential to their relationship.

“It’s great. It’s very natural because Nina and I met when we were still just 18. Since then we’ve built a great relationship. Her values are just like mine and are the most important in our relationship,” he continued.

Auger-Aliassime stated that Ghaibi is a “very honest” and a “very straightforward” person, something which he appreciates.

“She is really somebody that I like to say she can’t be corrupted. She’s very, very honest, very straightforward, and she’s got great values, great family values. It’s great that we’re now entering this new chapter of our lives,” Auger-Aliassime added.

Like Auger-Aliassime, his fiancée, Ghaibi, is an accomplished athlete in her own right. She is an equestrian and has competed in several global events, including the 2017 Moroccan Royal Tour.
