Andre Agassi has been a consistent presence at the Pickleball Slam since its inception in 2023. He is set to compete in the Pickleball Slam 4 in 2026, partnering with American former tennis player James Blake.
Recently, Agassi and Blake were spotted practicing together in preparation for the Slam next year, which drew a response from Eugenie Bouchard. The Canadian will also compete in the tournament next year, alongside the World No. 1 pickleball player, Anna Leigh Waters.

The Pickleball Slam 4 is scheduled to take place on April 15, 2026, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and will feature a $1 million prize purse, to be broadcast live on ESPN. This will mark Agassi’s fourth year competing in the tournament, where he will enter as the three-time defending champion. Bouchard, on the other hand, will be returning for her second appearance, having participated in 2025 alongside Andy Roddick.
Ahead of the 2026 Pickleball Slam, Agassi took to social media and shared a picture of himself playing pickleball with Blake and professional players Mary and Maggie Brascia.
“Getting ready for the @thepickleballslam with @jrblake2 @marybrascia.pickleball and @maggiebrascia.pickleball! @joolapickleball,” Agassi captioned his Instagram post.

Reacting to Agassi and Blake practicing alongside the Brascia sisters, Bouchard jokingly commented that she hopes they are not practicing “too hard” before the Pickleball Slam 4.
“Don’t practice too hard 💋 ,” Bouchard commented.

Bouchard made her professional pickleball debut in January 2024 by joining the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour. She is currently ranked World No. 9 in women’s singles and World No. 47 in women’s doubles according to the PPA Tour rankings.
Meanwhile, Agassi began playing pickleball for the first time in 2020 with his family and made his professional pickleball debut at the 2025 U.S. Open Pickleball Championships in April 2025 in Naples, Florida, where he partnered with Waters for the mixed doubles event.
In the inaugural edition of the Pickleball Slam, the eight-time Grand Slam champion claimed the title alongside Roddick, and he won the following two years again, partnering with his wife, Steffi Graf .
It is interesting to note that Agassi joined JOOLA, a German sports equipment company known for its table tennis and pickleball products, in August 2024, and he collaborated with them to launch a line of pickleball equipment.
