Just a few days ago, Emma Navarro put down her tennis racket to try her hand at golf during an event. Her compatriot, Jessica Pegula, recently commented on an interesting detail about Navarro’s golfing technique.
Navarro participated in the pro-am event at the 2025 RSM Classic, which is an official PGA TOUR event running from November 17 to November 23, 2025, at the Sea Island Golf Club. The pro-am event took place on November 19.

Earlier, Navarro shared a picture of herself with her golf club and caddie from the pro-am event. She recently took to social media and posted a montage video showcasing various moments from her time at the RSM Classic pro-am event, including clips of her golfing.
The former world No. 8Â acknowledged that her golf skills could use some improvement, but she had a “blast” at the pro-am event.
“my golf skills could use some work, but it was a blast being out there @thersmclassic,” Navarro captioned her Instagram post.

Reacting to Navarro playing golf, Pegula expressed her surprise at seeing the former World No. 8 play golf left-handed, especially since she plays tennis right-handed.
“Lefty????” Pegula commented.
Caroline Dolehide also commended Navarro’s golfing skills, describing her performance as “clean.”
“Clean,” Dolehide wrote.
This year, Navarro won one title: the 2025 Mérida Open. In Grand Slam tournaments, she reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, advanced to the fourth round at Wimbledon, was eliminated in the third round at the US Open, and lost in the first round at the French Open.
Navarro also made it to the quarterfinals at the Adelaide International, Charleston Open, Internationaux de Strasbourg, Queen’s Club Championships, Bad Homburg Open, and China Open.
Meanwhile, Pegula concluded her 2025 season with three titles: the ATX Open, Charleston Open, and Bad Homburg Open. She was the runner-up at the Adelaide International, Miami Open, and Wuhan Open.
In Grand Slam tournaments, the former world No. 3 reached the semifinals at the US Open and was eliminated in the fourth, third, and first rounds at the French Open, Australian Open, and Wimbledon Championships, respectively. She also reached the semifinals at the China Open and the WTA Finals, as well as the quarterfinals at the Qatar Open and the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart.
