Rybakina vs Andreeva Head-to-Head
This will be the fourth meeting between these two players, and it is Andreeva who leads the head-to-head. The 18-year-old has beaten Rybakina twice in their three meetings. Both wins came last year, when Andreeva won in Dubai and Indian Wells amid Rybakina’s struggles. This will be their first meeting on clay.
Andreeva is off to an excellent start in the clay-court season. She won the title in Linz last week and has beaten former champions Jeļena Ostapenko and Swiatek en route to the semifinals.
The 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Swiatek would have given Andreeva a lot of confidence as she looks to make back-to-back finals. She goes into the contest against Rybakina on a seven-match winning streak.
Rybakina had to work much harder than she would have liked in her quarterfinal against Fernandez. But she managed to come through with a 6-7 (5), 6-4, 7-6 (6) win to continue her unbeaten run in Stuttgart (she did not play in 2025 and won in 2024).
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to her 2026 season, winning the Australian Open and making deep runs at Indian Wells and Miami. She breezed past Diana Shnaider in her Stuttgart opener before her comeback win against Fernandez.
Rybakina vs Andreeva Match Prediction
Key to Rybakina’s win in her quarterfinal was her ability to save 11 break-point opportunities. She also saved two match points and fired 7 aces against Fernandez and looks to be warming up for another strong clay-court season.
Andreeva has established herself as an excellent returner, converting 6 of her 11 break-point opportunities against Swiatek. She also won 58.3% of the points on her opponent’s second serve, showcasing strong decision-making under pressure.
Rybakina likes to dictate proceedings and win rallies early, while Andreeva is more comfortable extending rallies and taking a patient approach. It will be interesting to see which player can manage to get the upper hand in what should be a close semifinal.
The key could well be whether Rybakina can land her first serve and not allow Andreeva to settle into the match. Andreeva has already claimed three comeback wins over the last week. But doing so against a player of Rybakina’s quality and form could be a more difficult task.
We are backing Rybakina to bring an end to Andreeva’s winning streak on Saturday and prevail in what will likely be a hard-fought matchup.
Pick – Rybakina in three sets.
