Daniil Medvedev’s wife, Daria, has recently shared a heartwarming glimpse of the World No. 12 posing with their three-year-old daughter, Alisa, during their vacation in the Maldives. The Russian star ended a rather disappointing 2025 season with a quarterfinal exit at the Paris Masters.

Medvedev, whose 2025 season went well below the expectations of many, had a decent run at the Paris Masters, where he defeated Jaume Munar, Grigor Dimitrov, and Lorenzo Sonego before narrowly losing to Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals. Just a few days before the Masters 1000 event, the Russian won his first title since 2023 at the Almaty Open.
Medvedev and his family recently visited Maldives and his wife, Daria, recently shared a glimpse of their trip on her Instagram stories. The former World No. 1 is seen standing, wearing blue swim shorts with black and white slippers, and holding his daughter, Alisa, who was sitting on a white decorative structure.
The three-year-old was donning a red short-sleeved shirt and a pink skirt. The endearing father-daughter moment was set against a backdrop of a white sandy beach and palm trees, highlighting the lush green flora.

The 2021 US Open champion dated Daria, who was a former junior tennis player, for four years before tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Sept. 2018. The couple welcomed Alisa in Oct. 2022 and their second daughter, Victoria, in Jan. 2025. During his press conference at the 2024 Miami Open, Medvedev reflected positively on how fatherhood has changed his personal and professional life.
He had mentioned, “Hopefully it helps me mature a little bit; many times, I am still mature on the court. I feel like I’m improving slowly every year, that’s my goal. In life, hopefully that made me more mature also, more responsible; it’s a big responsibility for sure to be a father.”

While highlighting Daria’s significant role in his life, he continued, “If you want to see your daughter a lot, then your wife has to sacrifice a lot, because she has to travel with the baby and many times it’s her taking the plane and not me. Playing with the baby is not that easy. I have done it couple of times, she has done it ten times more than me.”
Medvedev’s 2025 season saw him acccumulate 41 wins and 23 defeats, with the Almaty Open being his only title. He also reached the semifinals of two Masters 1000 events in Indian Wells and Shanghai.
