Danielle Collins vs Greet Minnen Preview

American star Danielle Collins and Belgium’s Greet Minnen will lock horns in the first round of the Libéma Open on Tuesday, June 10.

The 31-year-old will start her grass-court campaign at the WTA 250 event on the back of a mediocre clay-court swing. She had a promising start, reaching the quarterfinals of the Credit One Charleston Open. She defeated Robin Montgomery, the 11th seed
Jelena Ostapenko, before falling to the top seed Jessica Pegula in the final.

After withdrawing from the WTA 500 event in Stuttgart, Collins suffered a fourth-round defeat in Rome. The American then enjoyed a deep run in Strasbourg, finishing as a semifinalist after losing to Liudmila Samsonova. She ended her clay-court campaign with a surprising second-round loss to Olga Danilović at the 2025 French Open.

Meanwhile, Minnen had an underwhelming clay season, exiting in the first round at both Saint-Malo and Paris. However, the Belgian bounced back impressively on grass, recently winning the Lexus Birmingham Open after defeating Linda Fruhvirtova in the final.

Danielle Collins vs Greet Minnen Prediction

Although Collins didn’t enjoy a strong clay-court swing, she’ll be hoping to turn things around on grass with a solid start at the WTA 250 event in the Netherlands.

Minnen, on the other hand, is riding on a five-match winning streak thanks to her dominant run in Birmingham recently. The 27-year-old has regained her form and would look to continue that in S-Hertogenbosch. Nonetheless, Collins’s greater experience gives her a slight edge over the Belgian, making her the favorite to win the contest and advance to the next round.

    Pick: Collins to win
