Wimbledon is now just a week away, and players are ramping up their final preparations for the prestigious Grand Slam. Among those spotted gearing up were Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Novak Djokovic, who were the first batch of players to arrive on site.
The 7-time champion hit the practice courts over the weekend, setting his sights on equaling 8-time winner Roger Federer’s Wimbledon record.
Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, and Aryna Sabalenka put their feet on the pedal ahead of Wimbledon 2025
2025 hasn’t been the smoothest year for Novak Djokovic. Injuries disrupted his momentum early in the season, most notably when he was forced to retire mid-match during the Australian Open semifinal against Alexander Zverev due to a muscle tear in his left leg.
Yet, the 7-time Wimbledon champion has steadily clawed his way back into form. He finished runner-up at the Miami Open, captured his milestone 100th ATP title in Geneva, and put together an impressive run to the semifinals at Roland Garros earlier this month. Now, with Wimbledon just days away, Djokovic returns to the lawns of SW19, a place where he has thrived and where the stakes are always high.
Upon arriving in London, Djokovic wasted no time and quickly hit the grass courts for intense training sessions.
The veteran wasn’t alone in his final preparations. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and World No. 2 Coco Gauff were also spotted putting in the hard yards ahead of the Championships. Gauff, the reigning French Open champion, arrived in London looking to rebound from a surprising first-round exit at the 2025 Berlin Tennis Open, where she fell to China’s Wang Xinyu in straight sets (6-3, 6-3).

With two Grand Slam titles now under her belt, the 21-year-old American is aiming to add a Wimbledon crown to her growing legacy.
Sabalenka also took to the grass courts in preparation. A three-time Grand Slam winner and the world’s top-ranked player since October 2024, Sabalenka enters Wimbledon as the No. 1 seed for the third consecutive Major. She is bidding for her first grass title at the event.
Wimbledon’s official Instagram account spotlighted the buzz around the practice courts, sharing photos with the caption: “All eyes on the practice courts 👀.”

One story showed Djokovic greeting Sabalenka with a wide smile, while another captured Coco Gauff with fellow American Frances Tiafoe. In yet another post, Stefanos Tsitsipas was seen fine-tuning his game on the grass, signaling his readiness for the battles to come. Here is the compilation:

Also present at the venue was 2022 champion Elena Rybakina. The 26-year-old is chasing her second Grand Slam at the tournament, having come up short in the final of the 2023 Australian Open.
