Coco Gauff

Gauff has always loved celebrating with family and friends, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. This time, she stayed up until after 3 a.m. baking sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving. Gauff shared a photo of them on Instagram with the caption, “I need to stop waiting till midnight to start these, but the sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving are done.”

But Gauff is not spending the week just celebrating, she is also giving back and making her mother proud. The 2025 French Open champion surprised young players at a youth tennis clinic in New Orleans East, training on newly renovated public courts named in her honor.

10 courts at Joe W. Brown Park were updated earlier this year through the US Open Legacy Initiative, which was launched to celebrate Gauff’s 2023 US Open win. Gauff herself grew up training on public courts in Delray Beach, Florida, so she understands how important this is for young players. New Orleans was chosen, as Gauff’s family has deep ties to the city.

Frances Tiafoe

Not many players are celebrating Thanksgiving with as much energy as Frances Tiafoe. He was seen taking part in a local Turkey Trot fun community run, where hundreds of people are jogging and speedwalking together on Thanksgiving morning. His girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, was also there enjoying the day with him.

Tiafoe shared a video on his Instagram story, enjoying himself with Broomfield and interacting with fellow joggers and called it “Happy Thanksgiving the right way.” He also shared another story where he is seen at the local store buying stuff with his brother.

Besides this, he was also seen at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in Maryland on November 26 in a high-tempo training session along with his friend and compatriot Ben Shelton.

Leylah Fernandez

After wrapping up the Hong Kong Open last month, Fernandez headed to Spain to relax during her off-season. A few days ago, she shared a bunch of photos on Instagram from her trip. She posted a picture of her sister, Bianca, riding a cable car, along with several shots of the Spanish scenery. “Off-season files,” she captioned the post.

Besides chilling in Spain, Fernandez shared a special message for Thanksgiving to her fans and followers on her Instagram story. She said, “Hi everyone! I just wanna wish family, friends, and fans in the US a happy Thanksgiving. I’m super thankful for all the dedication and support you have shown this past couple of years and since I started my tennis journey. I am super grateful, and let’s continue onto 2026. Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful day with your friends and families.”

Eugenie Bouchard

Eugenie Bouchard kept things simple this Thanksgiving. She shared an Instagram story where she was seen working out to make sure she earned her big holiday meal later. The former World No. 5 was seen running on a treadmill in the video on which she wrote, “Before Thanksgiving.”

In her later stories, Bouchard showed off all the delicious food she enjoyed- turkey, wine, champagne, pies, and more. She even shared a funny photo of herself holding her full stomach after the feast, which she captioned, “After Thanksgiving.”

Lastly, she ended her day playing Codenames with her family.

Amanda Anisimova

Amanda Anisimova spent her offseason enjoying Thanksgiving Eve at home with her family and close friends. World No. 4 Amanda Anisimova spent her offseason enjoying Thanksgiving Eve at home with her family and close friends.

In her Instagram stories, Anisimova shared some sweet moments with her family.

Earlier, she posted several pictures of her friends, pets, selfie with her nephews and everyday moments. She summed it up in her caption, “been sleepin in my own bed lately 🤌🏼 takin lotsa selfies 😩 with people I love 😍.” Her recent post showed Anisimova enjoying more time with friends and captioning it simply, “🦃 evee.”

Tommy Paul and Paige Lorenze are celebrating their first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple. Paige shared bits of their cozy holiday weekend on Instagram stories.

Iva Jovic is enjoying the Eve with Georgian freshman tennis player at New York University, Visnja Gusavac.

Likewise, several other tennis stars shared glimpses of their Thanksgiving. Taylor Townsend, unfortunately, spent Thanksgiving in the ER after falling sick. Meanwhile, Taylor Fritz is enjoying the holiday in Japan with his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle.
