Coco Gauff Confirms Relationship With Boyfriend Jalen Sera

During the promotional video, Gauff participated in a game where she had to guess the source of various audio clips. She listened to sounds such as a tennis ball can opening, her father Corey’s voice, her mother Candi’s voice, and her best friend’s voice.

Among the audio clips was one featuring Sera, who affectionately called Gauff the “coolest” person ever. He also expressed his love and pride in her performance and mentioned that she was doing “great” in her career.

“Just wanted to say you’re the absolute coolest person ever. I’m so proud of you. You’re doing great and I love you,” Sera said.

Upon hearing Sera’s message, Gauff visibly blushed and confirmed it was indeed her boyfriend’s voice. She noted that it was their second anniversary together.

“That’s my boyfriend, and today’s actually our two-year anniversary, so that’s very nice. Oh, he didn’t tell me about that,” Gauff said.

On the tennis side, Gauff most recently won the 2025 French Open. She defeated Olivia Gadecki, qualifier Tereza Valentová, Marie Bouzková, 20th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova, compatriot Madison Keys, and wild card Loïs Boisson, securing her place in the final.

In the championship match, the World No. 2 defeated Aryna Sabalenka with a score of 6-7(5-7), 6-2, 6-4 to claim her first singles title at the French Open. It is her second singles Grand Slam title, and her third Major title overall.

Following Gauff’s victory at the French Open, Sera took to social media to compliment her and celebrate her achievement. He also shared several posts in honor of Gauff winning her second singles Grand Slam title.

‘Some Parts of Myself I Love To Share and Then Some I Keep to Myself’ – Coco Gauff

Last year, while speaking with PEOPLE magazine, Gauff shared that she prefers to keep certain aspects of her life private while being open about others. The World No. 12 explained that maintaining privacy over certain details gives her a sense of control over her life.

“I think I felt like I just, some parts of myself I love to share and then some parts I think I just keep to myself. And I think that’s just the beauty of it all, that people still know me and know parts of me, but not everything. So I do feel like my life is a little bit in my hands too,” Gauff said.

Looking ahead, Gauff will begin her grass court season at the 2025 Berlin Tennis Open, which starts on June 16, 2025.
