Everything to Know About Coco Gauff’s Boyfriend Jalen Sera

Gauff impressively stormed to the finals in Miami as the fourth seed, defeating Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Alycia Parks, Sorana Cirstea, and Belinda Bencic. She then beat world No. 13 Karolina Muchova in the semifinal to reach the title clash.

During her notable run at the Miami Open, Gauff expressed her appreciation for the support she received from her family and friends. Considering the significance of their cheer, she revealed, “I had to tell them mid-match to raise the energy. I needed that support. I felt like I needed them to cheer more, they did. And look at the score when you guys aren’t dead in the box.”

Apart from her family, Gauff’s boyfriend, Sera, has been a pillar of support. He attended her Miami Open run last year with her family, as her mother, Candi Gauff, shared a glimpse. The major champion reached the round of 16 before losing to Magda Linette in 2024.

Gauff has been dating the artist and musician from North Carolina since 2023 and confirmed their relationship in April 2024. She noted that it was her “first real relationship” and that growing along with someone who is not from a sports background gives her “a fresh perspective.”

Apart from Sera’s on-court support, the couple has spent time together in Florida at the Miami Music Festival, on a European trip, and in other locales.

Sabalenka’s fiancé, Frangulis, a Brazilian entrepreneur and the CEO of Oakberry Acai, proposed to her with a 12-carat diamond engagement ring earlier this month.

The proposal was made all the more special as Frangulis “bent the knee” in a resplendent setting adorned with beautiful flowers and candles. The couple has been dating since 2024 and got engaged in 2026. While revealing her engagement, she shared on Instagram, “You & me, forever ♾️ 3.3.26 💍🤍.”

The three-time major champion, who has been flaunting her ring ever since, also shared that the big diamond is “very comfortable” and that there is also an intended use. She hilariously shared, “I hope that my opponent will get distracted with this diamond and it’s going to benefit me.”

Since the couple began dating, Frangulis has been supporting and encouraging Sabalenka to reach new heights in her career. In her Miami Open campaign, the Belarusian has advanced past stars including Qinwen Zheng and Elena Rybakina in the semifinals to reach the final.
