Coco Gauff is reveling in Florida, with her recent highlights reflecting that. The American is savoring her time off the tour, just days after making history by claiming the 2025 Wuhan Open. The American recently attended a concert by acclaimed singer and producer Thundercat in Florida alongside her boyfriend, Jalen Sera, sharing the memorable moments from the evening online.

As noted, Gauff most recently competed at the 2025 Wuhan Open, delivering a standout performance amid a long title drought since her French Open triumph. The American, who entered the event as the third seed, dominated the draw without dropping a set en route to the trophy. She defeated compatriot Jessica Pegula 6-4, 7-5 to claim her third career WTA 1000 title, signaling a strong return to form on the tour.
Gauff’s stellar performance not only left her fans in awe but also earned praise from those close to her, including her boyfriend Sera, who reshared her celebratory moment on his Instagram story. Their bond was on full display once again when he joined the two-time Major champion during her return to Florida.
The two recently attended a concert in Florida and posted highlights from their outing on their Instagram stories. See the moments captured below.

Since mid-2023, Gauff has enjoyed a close relationship with Sera, a musician and aspiring actor from Atlanta, Georgia. Their story is endearing: Gauff’s mother, Candi, was Sera’s fourth-grade teacher, and since then, they have known each other. Interestingly, their friendship blossomed into love, and by June 2025, Gauff marked their two-year anniversary with a video collaboration with Bose.
How Does Sera Motivate Gauff in Challenging Moments?
Off the court, Gauff often leans on Sera for support during challenging moments. The American once shared that he’s the one who helps her regain composure and lift her spirits after a loss.
“Honestly, after a good match, I just talk to my boyfriend, my friends, everyone, cause I’m in a good mood. When I lose, I would say just my boyfriend ’cause he is the only one that can take me and my mood after a loss,” Gauff said in an exclusive interview with E! News.

Gauff explained that Sera, along with her team and parents, encourages her to trust the process and stay positive. She added that she tries to focus on her achievements rather than dwelling on negativity.
“He’s always telling me to trust the process. Just know that I’ve already accomplished a lot and there’s no need to be so negative. That’s kind of what my whole team, my parents, everybody says. I’m someone who can criticize myself a lot, so I just try to make sure that I stay positive,” she added.
On the tennis front, Gauff is building strong momentum, and following her standout triumph in Wuhan, she will also aim to make an impact at the 2025 WTA Finals in Riyadh, starting November 1.
