Hosts of Nothing Major Show Reflect Their Thoughts on Who Will Win the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals
During the recent podcast episode of “Nothing Major Show,” the former American stars shared their thoughts on the highly anticipated ATP finals at Turin, Italy. During which the Spanish star, Carlos Alcaraz, clinched his second Year-End No. 1 trophy, defeating Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Lorenzo Musetti, and Félix Auger-Aliassime to reach the final stage.
Whereas Jannik Sinner overcame Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and Alex de Minaur to reach the finals of the ATP. The Italian star had won the season-ending championship in 2024 after defeating Fritz in the final round.
Jack Sock shared his thoughts on who will win the prestigious ATP Finals title, adding, “I think because of the indoor streak and everything he’s on, I think Sinner like slight favorite, but I don’t; I have it at 50-50 to be honest.”
Whereas, Sam Querrey, the winner of 10 singles and five doubles titles, mentioned, “I feel like we keep doing this, like every time they play this year as a group collectively, I feel like we kind of tend to lean Sinner. And then, like Alcaraz like shuts us up. Well, it’s probably because he’s won 29 consecutive indoor matches. And he won Paris, and he won Vienna.”
After this, John Isner, who has clinched 16 singles titles and eight doubles titles, said, “I have Jannik Sinner as the major favorite. Yeah, absolutely. They have a 75% chance, absolutely, indoor. Hey Stevie, I beat Sinner in 2021, okay? I beat him in Cincinnati. I’m just saying, you can’t compare 2021 Sinner to this.”
