Head-to-Head History Between Alcaraz and Korda
This will be the sixth meeting between these two players and the first since the 2024 French Open. Alcaraz has come out on top on four occasions, with Korda claiming his solitary win at the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters.
Their only hard-court meeting prior to Sunday’s clash came at the 2021 ATP Next Gen Finals, which Alcaraz won 4-3 (5), 4-2, 4-2.
Alcaraz has enjoyed a near-perfect start to his season, winning two tournaments (the Australian Open and the Qatar Open) and reaching the semifinals at Indian Wells. That loss to Daniil Medvedev notwithstanding, the Spaniard is in sublime form and will be eager to make another deep run in Miami.
But Korda is a very capable player who goes into Sunday’s match with an 11-5 win-loss record in 2026. He won the title in Delray Beach, defeating Casper Ruud, Flavio Cobolli, and Tommy Paul during the run.
The American was sent packing in the second round at Indian Wells by Alex de Minaur. He started his campaign in Miami with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Camilo Ugo Carabelli.

Prediction for Alcaraz vs. Korda
Korda has been solid on his serve so far this year, hitting 151 aces and winning more than 80% of his points on serve. This bodes well for the Florida native’s hopes of upsetting Alcaraz at his home tournament.
The 25-year-old is a fantastic ball striker, playing with great confidence. His baseline play could pose a few problems for Alcaraz, who has been susceptible at times to players who disrupt his rhythm. But Korda will have to be at his very best in all aspects of his game to stand any chance of winning this one.
Alcaraz showed a few chinks in his armor at Indian Wells, dropping a set to Arthur Rinderknech and later losing to Medvedev in straight sets.
But with the way the seven-time Grand Slam champion has started the year, few would bet against him for this one. The PFSN Tennis Simulator gives Alcaraz an 88% chance of defeating Korda.

Pick: Alcaraz to win in straight sets.
