Carlos Alcaraz’s kangaroo tattoo dedicated to his Melbourne win from earlier this year has now been unveiled completely. He teased the new ink at the 2026 Miami Open, albeit hidden under his socks.
Carlos Alcaraz’s Final Grand Slam Tribute Uncovered
After crashing out of the 2026 Indian Wells Masters, the Spaniard made time for his final Grand Slam tattoo – A kangaroo, a map of Australia, and “01/02/2026” dedicated to his Melbourne triumph, which made him the youngest man to win a Career Grand Slam.
While he partially unveiled the addition during his brief Miami Open run, Alcaraz’s new ink was on full display at the Monte-Carlo Masters. Well-known tennis photographer Corinne Dubreuil unveiled the ink on her social media.

Alcaraz has turned his major career milestones into a lasting tradition by having them etched onto his body. The Spaniard added his first two tattoos on his left arm in 2022 — “11.09.22” for winning the US Open and his grandfather’s motto “CCC” (cabeza, corazon, cojones, which translates to head, heart, b*lls) for finishing the season as the youngest ATP World No. 1 in history.
The following year, he added a strawberry with “16.07.23” near his right ankle as a tribute to his first Wimbledon victory. After winning the French Open in 2024, the 22-year-old opted for “09.06.24” and the Eiffel Tower near his left ankle.
Alcaraz modified his US Open tribute after winning his second trophy in New York last year. During the off-season he debuted an intricate artwork combining the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Spaniard skipped the Madrid Open last year but aims to show up this time around. During his recent press conference, Alcaraz revealed his schedule.
“Monte-Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome — that’s the idea. It’s very demanding physically and mentally. The week in Barcelona might be when I should rest, but Barcelona is a very important tournament for me. I have a special affection for it; I was already playing there when I was less than 14 years old, I have many friends there, I play at home, so it’s always special,” he said.
Alcaraz faces Sebastian Baez in his first match after a bye in the opening round. The Argentine defeated former champion Stan Wawrinka to reach the Round of 32.
