We are inching towards the business end of the 2026 Australian Open, and the quarterfinals continue on Wednesday. The likes of Jannik Sinner, Iga Świątek, Novak Djokovic, and Amanda Anisimova will look to secure their last four berths.
With several top seeds in the mix, fans can look forward to some tightly contested matches on Wednesday. Let’s take a look at the full order of play and schedule for the quarterfinals of the 2026 Australian Open.
Australian Open 2026 Day 11 Schedule
Świątek will be first up at the Rod Laver Arena as she faces long-time rival Elena Rybakina. Their head-to-head stands at 6-5 in the Pole’s favor, although the fifth seed did come out on top when they last met at the WTA Finals.
The women’s singles quarterfinals will then continue with an all-American clash between Jessica Pegula and Anisimova. After eliminating reigning champion Madison Keys in the last round, Pegula will be full of confidence going into the quarterfinals. However, after an incredible 2025, Anisimova will be determined to take the next step and become a Grand Slam winner this year.
In what could well be the match of the day, Djokovic will face fifth seed Lorenzo Musetti. The Serb will fancy his chances of winning this one, but the Italian has looked good at the Australian Open and could pull off the win.
Ben Shelton will look to continue his remarkable Australian Open run as he takes on Sinner on Wednesday. The American will have to be at his very best, especially considering the lopsided head-to-head record between them (8-1 in Sinner’s favor).
