Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, recently flaunted a pendant that he had gifted her. The couple made their relationship public earlier this year, in March 2025.
Rodman is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward for the United States national team and the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). In her first season in 2021, she won the NWSL Championship, was named NWSL Rookie of the Year, and was selected for the NWSL Best XI.

Recently, during a live session on her social media, Rodman interacted with her fans while getting ready to go out. There she revealed that she planned to wear a “B” necklace because she loves her boyfriend.
The soccer star also mentioned that Shelton had also gifted her the pendant she was already wearing.
“Do I want to wear the ‘B’ necklace today? I think I do because I love my boyfriend. He also got me this pendant, and I love it. I think I’m gonna wear the ‘B’ necklace because I can see it,” Rodman said.
On the tennis side of things, Shelton last competed at the 2025 US Open. He was seeded sixth at the tournament and started his campaign by defeating qualifier Ignacio Buse with a score of 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in the first round. He then triumphed over Pablo Carreño Busta with a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 score in the second round.
In the third round, the World No. 6 faced Adrian Mannarino but had to retire from the match before the fifth set due to a shoulder injury. The score was 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 0-0 retd.
Shelton was scheduled to begin his run on the Asian swing of the Tour at the 2025 Japan Open, but he withdrew from the tournament because of the shoulder injury he sustained at the New York Major.
Where Will Shelton Compete Next?
Shelton will next compete at the 2025 Shanghai Masters, set to take place at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, China, from Oct. 1 to Oct. 12, 2025. Along with him, players like defending champion Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, and Alex De Minaur will also compete in the tournament.
Last year, Shelton won his opening match against Denis Shapovalov at the ATP Masters 1000 hard court tournament in Shanghai and then defeated Roberto Carballés Baena in the third round. His campaign ended in the fourth round when he lost to the eventual champion, Sinner.
The World No. 6’s best result at the Shanghai Masters came in 2023, when he eliminated Jaume Munar, Roman Safiullin, and Sinner to reach the quarterfinals. He was defeated by compatriot Sebastian Korda.
