    Sabalenka vs Muchová Head-to-Head

After four meetings, Muchová has a 3-1 head-to-head record against Sabalenka. The Czech player has won her last three meetings against the top-ranked Belarusian, including at the 2023 French Open. The last time they played, Muchová won 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-4 at the 2024 China Open.

    Sabalenka vs Muchová Head-to-Head

Sabalenka won 62 percent of her service points and 50 percent of her return points in her quarterfinal match against Madison Keys. The Belarusian was broken twice in the match. Still, she was able to create 11 break point opportunities, breaking her opponent’s serve five times.

In her previous match against Rybakina, Muchová won 64 percent of the service points and 46 percent of the return points. She was broken twice, but was able to make progress in the return games, breaking the big-serving Kazakh’s serve three times in the match.

Sabalenka has already become a legend on the hard courts. Including her four hard-court Major titles, she has won 19 hard-court titles from 27 finals in her career. She had a 39-7 win-loss record on hard courts, winning titles at Brisbane, Miami, and the US Open.

Muchová has only one hard-court title in her career, which she won at the 2019 Korea Open. Barring that, she has also reached the finals of the 2023 Cincinnati Open and the 2024 China Open. Last year, she had a 25-14 win-loss record on hard courts, with semifinal finishes at the Linz Open and at the Dubai Tennis International as her best results on the surface.

Sabalenka needs to put more first serves in, as her percentage was only 55% in her match against Keys. The Belarusian has struggled to close out matches against Muchová, as the Czech player has shown better tennis in pressure situations. Despite head-to-head, Sabalenka should be able to come through as she is the defending champion, in what should be a close three-set match.
