Aryna Sabalenka Gives Away Her US Open Winning Dress to Rafael Nadal

Aryna Sabalenka recently donated the dress she wore during her 2025 US Open championship run to the Rafa Nadal Museum in Manacor.

Aryna Sabalenka chose to honor one of tennis’s greats uniquelyuniquely by donating the dress she wore during her 2025 US Open championship run to Rafael Nadal’s Museum. Established in 2016 in Manacor, this museum is the first and only exhibition dedicated to showcasing the trophies collected by the Spaniard throughout his career.

In addition to Nadal’s trophies and mementos, the museum houses memorabilia and items donated by other sporting greats, including Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt, Pau Gasol, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. It also has Formula 1 memorabilia and much more.

One area of the Rafa Nadal Museum is dedicated to Nadal’s accomplishments at the French Open. It features all the Babolat rackets he used during the tournament, his Nike headbands, sneakers and other items.

What Makes Sabalenka’s US Open Dress a Fitting Addition to the Rafa Nadal Museum?

Sabalenka entered the 2025 US Open as the defending champion, having won the title in 2024 by defeating Jessica Pegula in the final. She was the top seed, and she defeated Rebeka Masarova (7-5, 6-1), Polina Kudermetova (7-6(4), 6-2), 31st seed Leylah Fernandez (6-3, 7-6(2)) and Cristina Bucșa (6-1, 6-4) in the first four rounds, respectively.

The world No. 1 then advanced to the semifinals with a walkover after her quarterfinal opponent, Markéta Vondroušová, withdrew due to a knee injury. In the final four match, Sabalenka overcame fourth seed Jessica Pegula (4-6, 6-3, 6-4), advancing to the final.

In the championship match, Sabalenka defeated eighth seed Amanda Anisimova with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6(3) to win the 2025 US Open title, her second New York Major singles title and her fourth Grand Slam singles title. With this victory, she became the first woman since Serena Williams in 2014 to successfully defend the title.

During the final match at the 2025 US Open, Sabalenka wore a white Nike dress with black sleeves and red piping detail.

Recently, the official social media account of the Rafa Nadal Museum shared a picture of her white dress from the tournament’s final match, announcing that it had been donated to the museum. The Belarusian also signed the dress.

“This year, @arynasabalenka won the @usopen, and we proudly display the dress she wore to claim the title at the Rafa Nadal Museum. 🎾✨ Congratulations on everything you are achieving! VAMOS,” Rafa Nadal Museum shared.
