In addition to being a tennis player, Anna Kournikova is a devoted mother of four children. She is also a model and television personality. Recently, she shared a rare picture of herself enjoying time with her children on a boat in Miami, Florida.
Kournikova has been in a relationship with Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias for over 24 years. The couple first met in 2001 on the set of Iglesias’ music video “Escape,” and they made their first public appearance together in 2002.

Together, Kournikova and Iglesias have four children: fraternal twins, son Nicholas and daughter Lucy, born on Dec. 16, 2017; daughter Mary, born on Jan. 30, 2020; and their youngest son, Romeo, born on Dec. 17, 2025.
Kournikova frequently shares photos of her children and the special moments they create as a family on social media. She recently posted a picture of herself capturing a moment of her four children posing on the yacht in Miami.
“Lucy + Nicolas + Mary + Romeo ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️,” Kournikova captioned her Instagram post.

Speaking about becoming parents for the fourth time in December 2025, a source close to Kournikova and Iglesias revealed: “Anna and Enrique love family life and will spend the holidays with their family, which varies in size depending on who is around. It will be busy and chaotic as always, only a bit more so, but all with joy and love. Both of them love being parents.” (via People)
On the tennis side of things, Kournikova, who turned professional in 1995, won two Grand Slam doubles titles: the 1999 and 2002 Australian Opens alongside Martina Hingis. The duo defeated Lindsay Davenport and Natasha Zvereva in the final to win the 1999 Australian Open title. They secured their second doubles title in Melbourne in 2002 by overcoming Daniela Hantuchova and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario in the championship match.
Kournikova also won the WTA Finals in 1999 and 2000 with Hingis and reached the World No. 1 ranking in doubles, among other achievements. She retired from professional tennis in 2003 due to severe back and spinal issues, including a herniated disc. Despite her retirement, she remained the most searched athlete on the internet until 2008.
In 2010, Kournikova became a U.S. citizen. She had a minor role in the film “Me, Myself & Irene,” was named one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People, and achieved numerous other accolades. She also graced the covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
