Andre Agassi’s latest family moment on social media sparked a wave of affection as his children, Jaden and Jaz, chimed in with loving notes while the American legend celebrated his mother Elizabeth’s 88th birthday. The former World No. 1 marked the milestone by sharing a set of heartfelt photos honoring the woman who has been at the center of his story since the beginning, and his kids made sure their grandmother felt the love as well.
Jaden and Jaz Respond to Andre Agassi’s Heartfelt Birthday Post for Their Grandmother
Agassi and Steffi Graf, two of the most decorated champions in tennis history, have long balanced their global fame with family life in Las Vegas. The couple married in 2001 and welcomed their son, Jaden, later that year. Their daughter, Jaz, arrived in 2003.
In his birthday tribute, Agassi shared a set of images that highlighted his bond with his mother. One photo showed the two walking hand in hand. Another throwback image featured an old milk advertisement they appeared in together back in 2002, offering a nostalgic look at their shared history. The final picture showed his mother smiling while holding a birthday balloon and a gift.
“Happy 88th Birthday Momma! Love you so much,” Agassi wrote in his caption, adding a red heart emoji.

Agassi Spoke About Life With Steffi Graf While Entering the Empty-Nest Phase
During a Laver Cup press conference, Agassi shared that with Jaden and Jaz now adults, he and Graf have entered the empty-nest phase, giving him more room to re-engage with tennis. Since stepping away from the tour in 2006, he has mainly focused on family life and on guiding the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education.
“I went through a good 15 years of raising my kids and finishing up my foundation in a way that it can live in perpetuity and building a few businesses,” Agassi said. “Now my kids are — we’re kind of empty-nesters, and I had the bandwidth to come back to tennis on a certain level and really appreciate the difference between what it was and what it is now.”
Even with tennis woven into his upbringing, Jaden chose a different path, pursuing baseball instead of following in his parents’ footsteps. He shone as a pitcher at the University of Southern California and later signed with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the MLB Draft League.
In March 2025, he represented Germany at the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in Tucson, honoring his mother Graf’s heritage. Jaz has followed her own blend of interests, from dance and fashion to fitness, while still sharing occasional moments on the tennis court.
