When and Where to Watch 1 Point Slam

The 1 Point Slam will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 14, and it will get underway at 7:30 pm local time (3:30 am ET). Tennis fans in Australia can watch the event on Stan Sport and 9NOW.

In the United States, fans can watch the live coverage on ESPN and Tennis Channel. Those in the United Kingdom can tune in on TNT Sports 3 and discovery+. TSN and RDS will broadcast the 1 Point Slam in Canada. The live event can also be streamed on the official Australian Open YouTube channel.

The 1 Point Slam will offer a prize money of $1 million AUD (US$670,00) to the winner. As previously stated, 24 professionals will compete in the event and they will take on amateur players selected from regional qualifiers across Australia. Some celebrities have also been included in the lineup.

The event’s format is straightforward. The two players competing will do ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to determine who gets to serve. Amateur players get two servers while pros get one serve. In a sudden death style, the winner of the point advances to the next round while the loser is eliminated.

The 1 Point Slam was also held in 2025, but it has now grown bigger and better, with more prominent names set to take part. The event is the latest in the Grand Slams’ attempts to draw more eyeballs to the sport, following the US Open’s mixed doubles championship held last year.
