    What Happened to Tee Higgins?

UPDATE: Higgins did return to the game. However, with the Bengals holding a commanding lead over the Browns, Higgins played only five snaps the remainder of the game and did not receive another target.

Higgins was hurt after a three-yard reception with 5:38 remaining in the third quarter.

Higgins left the field under his own power and headed over to the tent. He had eight receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown at the time of his exit. Higgins also had 11 targets, his third-most in a game all season.

The 6-8 Bengals are clinging to playoff hopes, which did get slightly brighter after the Denver Broncos’ loss on Thursday Night Football. However, Cincinnati must win its final three games and receive help to have any chance of reaching the postseason.

Potential Fantasy Fallout From Higgins’ Injury

    Analysis from PFN’s Kyle Soppe

Higgins saw 45.8% of Cincinnati’s targets prior to getting hurt, reminding us all of the upside that he has in an offense built like this if Ja’Marr Chase is the focus of the opponent.

Outside of Chase, there’s no player I trust to return value. Andrew Iosivas and Mike Gesicki both deserve to be rostered as a way to bet on Joe Burrow and/or block your opponent, but neither would rank as a fantasy starter, even if Higgins were to sit.
