The NFL kicked off the 2025 regular season with a bang when the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Dallas Cowboys on opening night. However, fans don’t have to wait two days for action to resume as the Los Angeles Chargers square off against the Kansas City Chiefs in a special Friday Night presentation from Brazil.
A global spectacle set to be broadcast on YouTube, the game marks a new venture for the league that is attracting a lot of mainstream attention. From celebrities to content creators, the Arena Corinthians is set to play host to many major names. However, less than two weeks after announcing her engagement to Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce, many fans are wondering if Taylor Swift will make the trip along with her beau.
Will Taylor Swift Attend Chargers vs. Chiefs?
Since their relationship went public, Swift has been a near constant presence at Arrowhead Stadium for all of Kansas City’s home games. Additionally, her fandom has gone a step further as she attends every playoff game, including the Super Bowl.
Last season, she was in the Caesars Superdome to witness a demolition job against the Chiefs by the Eagles. However, the global music icon has shied away from making the trip during road games.
The game against the Chargers, despite being in international waters, is billed as a “home” game for LA. That leads to some doubt about Swift making a presence in Brazil. However, throughout the season when the two were dating, the 14-time Grammy Award winner was also hosting the highest-grossing tour in history, “The Eras Tour”.
During the tour, Swift had two separate three-day shows in the country. Currently, though, she doesn’t have any such dates planned out. As a result, her presence cannot be completely ruled out, especially after she made a surprise appearance alongside Kelce in a college football game between Nebraska and Cincinnati.

It’s been just 10 days since the two officially announced their engagement on August 26. However, neither party has given a confirmation about her presence in Brazil on Friday. While speaking to the official NFL website, Kelce spoke glowingly about his fiancée.
He said, “I would say ever since I’ve been dating Taylor, life has been fun. I love when the lights are bright.” He even went so far as to say he now understood what “living life on a high” meant, but he refrained from commenting about her attendance at the game.
The highest-grossing live music artist might be a game-time decision after all.
