Will she or won’t she? The question on everyone’s mind ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles has little to do with football strategy. All eyes are on whether Taylor Swift, the fiancée of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will be at Arrowhead Stadium.
While Kelce is famous for his Hall of Fame-caliber play and three championship rings, his fiancée is a global superstar, and her presence adds a unique layer of intrigue and celebrity to every game she attends.
Will Taylor Swift Be at Today’s Super Bowl Rematch?
Outside of missing the season opener in Brazil, Swift has become a familiar face at Chiefs games, usually occupying a box seat with members of Kelce’s family. Throughout much of their relationship, the 14-time Grammy winner has been a consistent presence, supporting Kelce from the stands.
The last game she attended was the Cincinnati matchup against the University of Nebraska, held at Arrowhead Stadium. This has led to considerable online discussion, particularly regarding how often network cameras focus on her celebrating when the Chiefs score.
During these moments, various members of the Kelce family would join Swift, turning a national broadcast into what was essentially a family gathering. Networks decided to take full advantage, understanding that a celebrity of Swift’s magnitude could attract new demographics and potentially build viewership.

For a few reasons, today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles is not just an ordinary interconference clash. First, the last time these two teams played was in Super Bowl LIX. In that game, Philadelphia jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 40-22.
Furthermore, Kelce’s performance was uncharacteristically quiet, as the ten-time Pro Bowler was held to just four catches for 39 yards. Philadelphia’s defense made a point to muscle him off the line of scrimmage, which prevented him from getting a clean release. Compounded by a dominant defensive front, the Chiefs simply could not stop the Eagles.
A hilarious subplot to a potential Swift appearance involves her future brother-in-law, Jason Kelce. He played 13 seasons in Philadelphia and is widely regarded as the best offensive lineman in team history.
Despite holding several high-profile media jobs, including the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason remains a diehard Eagles fan who is loyal to the city, the fanbase, and the organization.
This loyalty has not stopped some Philly fans from criticizing their former center for appearing too cozy with Chiefs fans. Interestingly, Swift herself was born in West Reading, Pa., about 49 miles outside of Philly, and she grew up an Eagles fan.
Until a photo surfaces of her walking through the stadium’s rear entrance with members of her future family, Swift’s status remains uncertain.
