One of the most athletic QBs in the 2026 NFL Draft, Arkansas’ Taylen Green, is set to participate at the NFL Combine on Saturday

During his time in Arkansas, Green never led his team to consistent wins, but the 23-year-old QB had plays any sports fan would replay over and over. Where Green is going to shine is the athletic testing for the QBs, and if he can have a good performance in the passing drills, Green’s stock could skyrocket.

Taylen Green’s Scouting Report and NFL Draft Projection

Here is what Green’s scouting report says in PFSN’s Mock Draft Simulator: “Taylen Green stands to benefit as one of the more traits-rich quarterbacks in the sparse 2026 NFL Draft class. The Mountain West Freshman of the Year back in 2022, Green took his talents to Arkansas and failed to show substantial year-over-year development, but nonetheless managed to enthrall with flashes of elite physical talent and 1-on-1 discernment.

“At his best, Green showed he could layer the ball over second-level defenders with pace and touch, operate off-platform on designed rollouts, and generate eye-catching velocity from different launch points. However, Green’s field vision, accuracy, and risk aversion remain sore areas, even after four years as a starter.

“Green can catapult up boards with a strong pre-draft cycle, and has the raw physical talent of a starter, but it remains to be seen if he can handle the hastened pace of the NFL. In the right environment, with time to sit, he could grow, but his more likely outcome is that of a backup and eventual spot-starter.”

In PFSN’s latest seven-round 2026 NFL mock draft, analyst Jacob Infante had Green go to the Baltimore Ravens in the 5th round.

As a developmental QB prospect, Green is exactly what a team would want. He stands 6-foot-6, is extremely athletic, and can burn defenders (as seen in college and at the Senior Bowl).

He needs to be more consistent as a passer, but Green also has standout arm strength. On the Ravens, Green will be able to sit behind one of the best QBs in the NFL, Lamar Jackson, and develop. The hope is that he can learn the system, step in when Jackson is injured, and maybe one day become an NFL starter.
