‘Are You Kidding Me?’ — Super Bowl Champion HC Jon Gruden Gets Hyped Opening Mystery Box From NFL Team

The newest Barstool Sports employee, Jon Gruden, has been making shockwaves on social media since entering his new role.

The former NFL head coach had an illustrious football career that is most remembered for his Super Bowl victory. Gruden led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the team’s first championship in 2003, just after he was awarded the NFL’s Coach of the Year in 2002. Now, with Barstool, Gruden is living his best life and reaping the rewards.

Gift for Gruden Gets Him “Feeling Nicey”

Regardless if you love him or hate him, Gruden’s time with Barstool has been pure comedy. Most recently, the football fanatic was sent a hefty package from some folks with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Gruden was quick to give thanks to some specific names within the Jaguars organization following his first box from an NFL team. This includes new head coach Liam Coen, “the greatest Jaguar of all time Tony Boselli,” according to Gruden, and general manager James Gladstone.

Among the items in the box, Gruden was gifted a “Grudog” jersey, Tony Boselli helmet, two pairs of Nike shoes, an autographed football, two hats, and several shirts.

“Thank you so much coach Coen, I hope you guys keep rocking and have a great season,” said Gruden. “If I can do anything down here, I am on board.”

Gruden then tried on his new gear which soon got him “feeling nicey.”

    Gruden’s Social Media Presence

The “feeling nicey” trend has become one of the most viral videos each time they release over the past few months. Gruden’s passion and knowledge for football has evolved into global entertainment. The Super Bowl champion started his “feeling nicey” videos late in the 2024 season as he would recap some of the week’s top performers.

The die-hard football fan has also begun to make appearances on various podcasts and sports shows to discuss his career and shift into social media. An additional bit that has gone viral numerous times is Gruden speaking with Barstool employees about his favorite play calls.

The schematically intelligent play calling of Gruden can never be questioned, despite his coaching career being behind him for the time being.

When the 61-year-old linked up with Barstool, many wondered what his role would be. Now, nearly four months removed from his arrival, he is one of the most prominent personalities in the company. The content Gruden can be involved in is endless, which makes his new career path the perfect fit for him.
