Joy Behar Takes Shots at Jaxson Dart for Participation at Donald Trump’s Rally

Behar didn’t hold back her feelings on Dart’s participation at Trump’s rally. Although the New York Giants quarterback just introduced Trump at the rally, Behar let loose and ripped Dart for supporting Trump.

Trump has a “history of discrimination and racism,” according to Behar.

Behar justified her claims with examples of removing diversity programs and the posting of racist images on social media. Due to this, Behar was not a fan of Dart’s support because of the proportion of NFL athletes who are African American.

“That’s 55 to 60 percent of the NFL, that much percentage of Black people … that is just the definition of stupidity and racist in my opinion,” said Behar on Dart.

Dart isn’t only catching heat from Behar; many people have lined up to talk about the quarterback’s decision to attend the rally with Trump. Dart outlined that he was very happy to be introducing Trump and Behar didn’t like that.

Dart’s participation didn’t seem to go over very well with his teammate, Abdul Carter, either, who expressed his displeasure with Dart being at the rally. But both of them reportedly talked it out and are on good terms.

Dart is the future of the Giants, and they will want him to be as far away from controversy as possible. The Giants are among one of the few laughing stock franchises in the NFL right now and have their sights set on changing that. By bringing in John Harbaugh as their new head coach, they have a veteran leader to help change things around. Even then, Dart and the players are going to have to make the necessary leaps.

Giants fans would have hoped that their offseason Dart news wouldn’t include him wrapped up in controversy and getting ripped by the media like Behar did. But now, they’ll be hoping it doesn’t become a distraction at any point.

The excitement around the Giants remains strong. While Cam Skattebo expects to be recovered from his ankle injury by Week 1, there is massive uncertainty surrounding Malik Nabers’ timeline as he returns from a torn ACL, but he will play at some point in the first half of the season.

Isaiah Likely adds an exciting new element, and Dart is set for a second-year improvement. The rookies are promising, and with the new coaching staff, New York’s outlook is more optimistic. The pressure on the second-year quarterback to lead the team to more wins than in 2025 is less intense.
