Indiana Fever forward Sophie Cunningham has a request, and she believes only one teammate can genuinely make it happen. As the WNBA continues to gain national attention, Cunningham wants to bring in the biggest celebrity duo in sports and entertainment: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

In her mind, there is only one player who has the ties needed to pull that off. Caitlin Clark already has relationships with both Kelce and Swift, which makes the idea more realistic. Now, Cunningham is encouraging Clark to use her influence.
When asked about trying to lure Kelce and Swift to a fever game, Cunningham quickly shifted the responsibility to Clark, saying, “You are asking the wrong girl. You have to get Caitlin out here asking those questions because we would love to have Kelce and Swift at a Fever game.”
With the Kansas City Chiefs preparing to face the Denver Broncos this week, Kelce remains one of the most talked-about athletes in the league. Cunningham sees that spotlight as an opportunity to bring even more attention to the WNBA.
Clark is the one person who could make this happen next season. She appeared on Kelce’s podcast titled “New Heights” back in January, and that appearance led to an invitation to a Chiefs playoff game during the 2024 season. Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has continued to show support for Clark as her popularity grows. He has even worn merchandise featuring her signature logo on his show.
Clark’s connection to the couple is deeper than it appears. She grew up as a Chiefs fan in Iowa and attended games regularly with her cousins. Sitting in Kelce’s suite with Swift earlier this season was something she described as a dream moment. On “New Heights,” she also shared her admiration for Swift’s music and mentioned attending multiple “Eras Tour” concerts.

Her support of Swift has remained consistent. Clark ended her exit interview with the Fever this year by telling fans to listen to Swift’s new album titled “The Life of a Showgirl.” Only ten days later, she returned to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kansas City face the Detroit Lions, once again joining Swift in Kelce’s suite.
Considering all of this history, Cunningham’s request feels very reasonable. Clark has the kind of personal connection that could genuinely convince the Kelce and Swift to attend a Fever game in 2026. Fans will have to wait for next season, but the possibility does not feel unrealistic.
