Real Madrid’s season has not been the best, and things have begun to fall apart once again. They have now received devastating injury news, as a key player is set to miss two months.
Real Madrid Star Ruled Out for 2 Months
Real Madrid is out of the Copa del Rey and lost the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona this season. They failed to finish inside the top eight of the UEFA Champions League during the group phase and now must play in the playoffs.
In the league, they are chasing Barcelona but are just a point behind the Catalan side with 15 matches left in the season. Álvaro Arbeloa’s side has only two competitions to focus on over the next few months, but they will have to do so without a key player.
According to journalist Ramon Alvarez, Jude Bellingham has been ruled out for two months due to a hamstring injury. The Englishman pulled up against Rayo Vallecano last week, and tests have now delivered Los Blancos the news they feared most.
Arbeloa spoke about the injury soon after the match, admitting that it did not look good for the midfielder. He said, “We don’t know about Jude yet. [Bellingham] has made a great effort in every game since I’ve been here. It’s a very important loss, but we have an extraordinary squad.”

He will also be out of the Benfica clash in the UEFA Champions League playoffs, as well as the Round of 16 matches against Manchester City and Sporting CP if they qualify.
Jude Bellingham is currently the highest-rated midfielder in La Liga this season, leading the rankings with an average rating of 7.37.

The Englishman, valued on Transfermarkt at $191 million, has been dealing with injury issues for the past few months and missed six matches earlier this season following shoulder surgery. The midfielder underwent surgery after the FIFA World Cup in July and returned to the pitch in mid-September. He missed six matches during the 2024-25 season due to a muscle injury, while the shoulder injury began during the 2023-24 season, when he missed three games.
The former Borussia Dortmund star will be eager to regain full fitness soon to make the England squad for the FIFA World Cup this summer.
