‘Biggest Industry Plant Ever’ — Real Madrid Fans Have Major Complaints With $186M Star After Showing in Loss to Barcelona

Real Madrid fans have slammed a key player after his display in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona, which saw them lose 3-2.

Barcelona beat Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday, January 11, to collect their first piece of silverware of the season. The Catalan won 3-2 in Saudi Arabia with Raphinha, scoring the winner in the second half and finishing with a brace.

Fans Slam Real Madrid Star After Barcelona Loss

Raphinha broke the deadlock in the first half by scoring in the 36th minute, and the game looked set to end with a 1-0 scoreline at the break. However, a stunning finish to the half saw three more goals scored in the added time to set up a big second 45.

Vinicius Jr. scored a beautiful solo goal to pull his side level just over a minute into injury time. Barcelona gave Real Madrid no time to celebrate, as Robert Lewandowski made it 2-1 two minutes later.

Los Blancos returned the favor three minutes later, with Gonzalo Garcia getting on the scoresheet right at the halftime whistle. The second half saw more end-to-end action, but a deflected effort separated the two sides.

Raphinha’s shot from the edge of the box flicked off Raul Asensio, and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could not do anything but watch the ball balloon over him and into the back of the net. Frenkie De Jong got sent off seconds into the injury time of the second half, after catching Kylian Mbappe’s knee with a tackle.

Fans on social media were quick to point fingers at Jude Bellingham after the game, with one calling him the ‘biggest industry plant’, as he offered nothing in the game.

He wrote, “Jude Bellingham is the biggest industry plant ever. There’s NOTHING he’s good at. I haven’t noticed him all game. Ghosts week in week out but because he scores tap ins occassionaly he’s generational apparently.”

Some fans were calling the Englishman overrated, with one taking it to a whole new level and posting:

“Jude Bellingham has mastered the art of looking busy on a football pitch. The casuals love it, the analytics guys love it, I see through it. He is not elite in any sense of the word, closer to a Leon Goretzka than a Pedri or a Musiala. A 3/10 on his best day. Overrated.”

Bellingham had done well in all the matches against Barcelona so far, and one fan swiftly posted that this was easily his worst ever in El Clásico. He wrote, “Easily Jude’s worst Clasico.”

One fan was calling out Xabi Alonso for not taking off the midfielder and posted: “Jude Bellingham running around putting out his own fires, does nothing all game. Yet he never gets subbed.”

The perfect summary of the performance came from a Barcelona fan, who posted: “Jude Bellingham was Barça’s best player today. Jules Kounde was Real Madrid’s best player today.”

This should give Alonso and his team a moment to think. Things went south too fast. While everything looked up to pace in the beginning, things really turned against Real Madrid. You cannot afford such mistakes at El Clásico, a match considered the epitome of Spanish football.
