USMNT Hero Christian Pulisic Wanted by 2 Premier League Clubs in $65 Million Transfer

Christian Pulisic has drawn interest from two notable Premier League clubs owing to his recent form at AC Milan, as per a report.

United States men’s national team (USMNT) forward Christian Pulisic has cemented himself as one of Serie A’s best performers this season. As a result, three Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing the American this summer.

According to Calciomercato, Manchester United and Arsenal are both keeping close tabs on Pulisic’s situation at AC Milan. The Premier League duo believe the former Chelsea attacker could be available for a transfer, with his contract expiring in June 2027.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are allegedly trying to tie the 27-year-old ace down to a new contract. However, they have set a $65 million price tag for the star ahead of this summer.

Pulisic, who has also attracted attention from Tottenham Hotspur, could prove to be a great arrival for both Manchester United and Arsenal. He would emerge as a crucial starter on the left wing for both interested clubs should he decide to end his AC Milan stint.

Despite suffering hamstring and muscle injuries this season, the USMNT forward has impressed at the club level in recent years. He has scored 10 goals and recorded two assists in 20 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoneri this campaign.

During his four-year stint at Chelsea between 2019 and 2023, the AC Milan man started 58  of his 98 Premier League appearances. He contributed 20 goals and 11 assists for the Blues in the Premier League before joining his current club for over $24 million.

Meanwhile, USMNT icon Brad Friedel has urged the ex-Borussia Dortmund star to play for a Premier League club instead of a Major League Soccer (MLS) side in the future.

“If somebody came in like Weston McKennie or Christian Pulisic, they would have so much power at an MLS club, I would worry that they wouldn’t be focused on just getting better. That would be my worry. Not every player is built like that, some can motivate themselves, but there are a lot of players that can’t,” the former goalkeeper told GOAL.

“If you have the opportunity to go and play in the Premier League and you have the quality to do it, and the ability to play in another country and play in the Champions League, those are the best events for club football right now. So, test yourself and do it. That would be my wish for the majority of the US national team,” Friedel concluded.

Pulisic is next likely to be in action in AC Milan’s away league contest at Pisa this Friday.
