Arsenal Looking To Sign Player Eyed by Major Spanish Club
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, who has lately been linked with Real Madrid, ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
Yildiz, who will turn 21 next May, has popped up as one of the best attacking talents in the Serie A over the last couple of seasons. He helped the Bianconeri finish fourth in the Serie A standings in the previous campaign, netting 12 goals and providing nine assists in 52 games across all competitions.
With Real Madrid allegedly monitoring his situation, the Turkish international is currently at a contract standstill with Juventus. His entourage’s demand for a salary hike amid transfer interest has reportedly fallen on deaf ears at Juventus in the recent past.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is also aiming to add Yildiz to its star-studded squad, as per Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini. They are said to have inquired about Yildiz’s winter availability.
“There’s been real contact with Arsenal, that is, Arsenal have asked for information. It’s part of the game, there’s no negotiation, let’s be clear, but they have asked for information about this player who, in my opinion, could also do very well in the Premier League given his physical and technical characteristics,” Balzarini told TuttoJuve.

Balzarini also claimed that Yildiz could himself push for a Juventus exit, saying, “And so it’s clear that after all this atmosphere here, a sort of halo is forming around the boy, the player who, for his part, I also understand, may claim the need to play in a better team.”
Yildiz, who is valued at $87 million, has registered 21 goals and 16 assists in 102 appearances, including 68 starts, across all competitions for Juventus.

“Everybody is predicting that Arsenal are going to win the Premier League, but we have a race. It’s a pity that Chelsea fell asleep again today but Manchester City and Aston Villa are chasing Arsenal, and it’s good for the Premier League,” the Frenchman said on ESPN FC.
“It’s what we want. We want suspense and that’s what we have. I’m very pleased, even if I think that Arsenal are still the best team in the Premier League this season,” the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 UEFA European Championship winner concluded.
