Christian Pulisic has been a key player for AC Milan on the pitch and has helped the club challenge for the Serie A title this season. One teammate has now heaped praise on him, calling him an important presence in the dressing room as well.
AC Milan Player Describes the Exceptional Quality That Sets Christian Pulisic Apart
Settling into a new club and gelling with new teammates is a challenge for most players, especially when they move to a different country. Often, success depends on someone already at the club stepping up to help ease that transition.
Speaking on CBS Sports’ Morning Footy, Sweden star Ardon Jashari revealed that Pulisic stepped up and helped him when he moved to the San Siro side. He praised the USMNT star for his influence on the pitch, saying he can turn a game in their favor in an instant, and said:
“Christian is a very, very good guy. He is very close. He sits very close to me in the dressing room. So we chat every day, some small conversations, but when I speak about him, he’s very, very intelligent. He’s very important for our squad. He’s for sure a player who can make the difference in every game or in every moment. You can always count on him. With one action, he can decide the game, and as a person, he is a fantastic guy. He’s good, I think, with everyone.”
However, Jashari said the main thing he admires about the former Chelsea man is his willingness to help new players and youngsters at the club. He added that the 27-year-old is also open to offering guidance when needed, saying:
“And what I also admire is that, of course that, he tries to help the young players or the new players like me to integrate more in the squad. When the situation is a bit difficult, he’s there to try and understand or to give some advice, which is not normal, and I really appreciate that.”
Jashari joined AC Milan in the summer from Club Brugge and has played just eight matches for the club. The 23-year-old endured a difficult start after missing the first few weeks of the season with a broken ankle and has since struggled to break into the starting 11.
