The Monday Night clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars ͏is shaping up to be one of the͏ most anticipated games͏ of Week 5.

Rising R&B Stars Set for Their Biggest Stage Yet
Before Patr͏ick͏ Mahom͏es and Tre͏vor͏ Lawren͏ce take ͏the field,͏ an emerging R&B trio will set t͏he tone fo͏r͏ the night.
CitiLimitz, a young vocal group from Chattanooga, Tennessee, announced on Sunday that they will perform the national anthem before the Jaguars-Chiefs showdown.
The group shared the news on their official Threads account, writing, “Check us out this Monday night singing the National Anthem for the @jaguars x #Chiefs game at 8 pm est. TUNE IN FAM! This is a big look for us! Big thank you to the @jaguars for inviting us to be a part of their #Mondaynightfootball Huge honor and blessing!”

This marks the group’s first-ever NFL appearance, adding to the anticipation surrounding an already high-profile matchup.
From Church Choirs to National TV
CitiLimitz is composed of three brothers: 18-year-old Deshundre (Dre) and 17-year-old twins Amari (A.T.) and Amarion (Marion).
Their musical journey began in the church, where they honed their vocal skills under the influence of their grandfather, a pastor. By the age of 12, they had officially formed their group and quickly captured attention after performing on “The Ellen Show” in 2019.
Their big break came when Kevin Wales, CEO of ‘Sound of Young America,’ discovered them and signed them to Republic Records/UMG.
They debuted with the single “Say No More” and have since released tracks like “The Most” (2025), “Wherever You Like” (2024), and “It’s All About You” from The Waterboyz soundtrack. Most recently, they appeared on the 20th season of America’s Got Talent in 2025, further boosting their visibility.
Why the NFL Stage Matters More Than the Paycheck?
Although financial details for their anthem performance remain undisclosed, artists typically receive only union-scale compensation for such appearances. The real benefit lies in exposure, with millions of viewers tuning in on TV and in the stadium, driving fans to search for their music and follow them online.
CitiLimitz currently has around 15,600 YouTube subscribers and 222,000 Instagram followers, numbers expected to rise significantly after their NFL debut. Performances like these often spark viral moments on social media, leading to surges in streaming, engagement, and fan growth.
The effect can be dramatic. After Usher’s Super Bowl show, his Spotify streams surged 550 percent in the U.S. CitiLimitz could experience a similar boost if their performance resonates.
For the young trio, Monday night’s anthem is more than a gig. It is a potential launching pad for a breakout career.
