After being released from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Shilo Sanders has been doing everything in his power to keep himself busy. He missed out on nearly $3 million when Tampa Bay moved on from him prior to the season, but he’s got a few things that are still generating him money.
Sanders has remained relevant due to not only his family ties and last name, but also his ability to adapt and keep up with the trends.
Shilo Sanders November Announcement
One of the biggest things that Sanders has been working on is his music. When “Hate 2 Love” was released in January, fans were unsure whether this was a one-off or if it truly reflected Sanders’ passion. With his football career behind him, for now, Sanders has put all of his attention into his music.
In an attempt to kick off an acting career as well, Sanders has fully embraced this new lifestyle. When using his Tesla Cybertruck to hype new music, he responded to a fan saying that it would be released “sometime in November.” At the very least, it gives Sanders’ fans something to look forward to in the near future.
Sanders made just $1,572 from his time on the Buccaneers. With close to $3M left on the table, he’s had to find other ways to make a living. Knowing his father, Deion, isn’t going to pay for everything or get him a gig with an NFL team, Sanders has prioritized his YouTube channel, which continues to grow.
His latest video, “Shilo Sanders Trolls Everyone at ComplexCon”, surpassed 100,000 views in its first two days. His channel has 236K subscribers, a sizeable number for someone who never got his feet going in the NFL. Sanders ensures that some of his content features his family, including his most recent video, which featured him cosplaying as his brother, Shedeur.
Shedeur has yet to get his first NFL start, but when he does, it’s safe to assume Shilo will be in attendance. The Cleveland Browns are far from the best team in the NFL. Still, they continue to ride with their third-round pick, Dillon Gabriel, over Sanders, who they selected in the fifth.
The Browns’ decision not to give Sanders a chance reveals just how little some NFL teams value Shedeur’s brother. It’s not like they’ve handled Shedeur’s situation with grace. Still, Shilo has been forced to pursue other ways to make a living, as no NFL teams have shown interest in him.
