Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season is filled with some interesting games. One such game is the 3-10 Cleveland browns visiting the 9-4 Chicago Bears. This NFC-AFC conundrum pairs one of the top-ranked NFC North teams with the lowest-ranked team in the AFC North.
As Shedeur Sanders drew in to face Caleb Williams, he was spotted from the sidelines during practice, donning something interesting.
Shedeur Sanders Steals Pre-game Spotlight With Custom ‘Slime Cleats’
Sanders is starting the fourth game of his NFL career and is getting into the groove slowly. Fans voiced their opinion about the team’s quarterback situation so ardently that Sanders was bound to get the starting spot. While it seems he is improving with every passing game, fans have started to take notice of him even more.
During his practice before the Browns vs Bears game, Sanders was spotted wearing a pair of custom cleats by Nike. This drew the attention of fans and media houses alike. Coach Prime’s son wore the “Slime” Nike Alpha Huarache Elite 4 Low Cleats and pulled the custom design effortlessly.
The official X account of the Cleveland Browns posted a picture of the shoes with the caption, “.@ShedeurSanders rocking the custom slime cleats,” accompanied by a fire emoji.

With the temperature in Chicago reaching 13 degrees Fahrenheit, everyone was well-padded and geared up to tackle the cold. Sanders was covered from head to toe, including his face. He had a glove on his left hand, but went bare on his right hand to facilitate throwing.
Accounting for the freezing temperature, Sanders had his orange quarterback pouch, a physical hand-warming pouch. He put his hands into them after every throw he made. This was spotted in the video posted by ESPN Cleveland on their official X account.
The post was captioned, “Shedeur getting loose in Chicago,” accompanied by three freezing face emojis to emphasize the cold playing conditions.

Sanders rocking the Nikes is nothing new. This is something the NFL world has been observing even before he was drafted.
When Sanders ‘Fueled a Legacy’ for Nike
In September 2024, Sanders joined the Nike family, facilitating the Air DT Max 96 ‘White Gold,’ a sneaker commemorating the achievements of his family legacy. Nike taglined it, “Fueling a Legacy.” Even though the shoes celebrated a family legacy, Sanders had earned the honor through a spectacular 2024 College Football season.
He had thrown for 4134 and had 37 touchdowns that season, directly leading to the expectations of him getting picked as a first-rounder. Well, we all know how that went along, but the hype was not dead before the draft began.
In April 2025, Sanders arrived at the pre-draft workout in a silver Nike tracksuit bearing his signature logo. He had a matching metallic silver Louis Vuitton Keepall duffel bag and the updated Air DT Max ’96 ‘Pro Day’ sneakers.
But this time, they were silver and grey, updated for the general public. Sanders was later seen wearing a hoodie with his face as the custom logo. Only time will tell if the brand’s sentiment toward the young quarterback pays off.
