Seth Rollins Says No to a Team Up With CM Punk, Even If a Bears Title Was on the Line

Everyone has their way of supporting sports teams — some are loud and animated, while others are more reserved and quiet — but the passion is always there. In Rollins’ case, his love for the Bears falls into the first category. He was invited to announce one of the team’s draft picks in 2025.

When Adams read a comment from a fan who asked if he’d be willing to team up with Punk if it meant the Bears would win the Super Bowl, Rollins thought it over and ultimately said it wouldn’t be possible. He described the scenario as impossible due to his longstanding feud with the fellow wrestler.

“It makes my stomach churn just to think about it,” Rollins said. “I don’t think I could do it. I don’t think I could stand next to him. I just, I don’t think I could do it. I think I’d just suffer in misery every season… I think I’d have to say no. Sorry, Noir.”

The host challenged him, saying he couldn’t be a true fan if he weren’t willing to set aside a personal feud for his team to win the Super Bowl. But Rollins stood his ground, reaffirming that it would hurt him too much inside, especially since he’s been very open about his deep-rooted issues with Punk.

“I would have to go home and look my daughter in the face and tell her I was a coward. You know? And I couldn’t do that. I couldn’t do that to my daughter. I couldn’t do that to my family. My wife would disown me. I don’t know that I’d ever sleep in the bed again. I’d get kicked to the curb. If there’s one person that hates CM Punk more than me, it might be me and Becky Lynch,” he added.

Rollins and Punk have had a public feud since 2014, when Punk walked out on WWE. The Bears fan once said in an interview that he considers Punk a cancer to his career because of the way he left the company, and the two haven’t gotten along ever since. And for someone to prefer their team not winning a Super Bowl just to avoid teaming up with someone, that grudge has to run deep.
